Moxa's media converters allow devices with different serial interfaces to communicate effortlessly. Serial to serial converters help convert between RS-232 and RS-485, serial to fiber converters convert these interfaces to fiber optics. Operating temperatures between 0 and 60°, baud rates from 300bps to 115.2 kbps, input voltage from 5 to 12 Vdc, storage temperatures from -20° to 75°. Industrial fieldbus converters can convert PROFIBUS to fiber even in harsh environment, can transmit PROFIBUS transmission up to 45km.

Converters provide stable and reliable conversion of optical fiber ethernet data, widely used to connect devices to various multimedia interfaces to meet a wide range of communication requirements. Rugged media converters that meet your serial-to-serial, serial-to-fiber, or ethernet-to-fiber connectivity needs. They are a cost-effective solution that operates on either 12 or 48V DC power input and operate reliably in temperatures from -10° to +60°, designed to withstand harsh environments with wide operating temperatures and high EMI immunity.
Usb converters/usb hubs designed with ruggedness and reliability necessary for high level and high performance industrial applications. Moxa's UPort series of USB converters and USB hubs offer true high-speed USB 2.0 speeds up to 480Mbps, 15kv ESD protection and a metal housing to withstand harsh environments, LEDs for easy monitoring, protection up to 2 kV (for “-I” models). The operating temperature ranges from 0 to 60° in the standard models and a storage temperature from -20 to 75°. To avoid possible damage, Moxa USB hubs can provide level 4 ESD protection (8Kv contact, 15Kv air).
