Thermal transfer labellers
The LABELMATEC of the "S" family are electronic transfer printers capable of printing self-adhesive labels in real time and applying them automatically to the product.
The label texts can be processed on a PC external to the printer and communicated to LABELMATEC via USB memory, USB to Wireless device (802.11g), USB to Ethernet or RS232 interface. The machine is also set up for the use of RFID label writing technology
Linerless labellers
"Print apply" printers such as the Labelmatec LL PAX170 represent a great innovation of value for the automatic product identification market, thanks to the linerless technology, i.e. reels of continuous adhesive material, without silicone support and without die-cutting.
They allow for reductions in the cost of consumables and machine downtime, and maximum flexibility both in positioning on the production lines (thanks to the different types of pneumatic applicators) and in configuration (thanks to the cutting unit on the machine which allows you to generate adhesive labels of format defined by the operator).
Barcode, Datamatrix and RFiD counter printers
Benchtop printers are ideal for e.g. transport and logistics industries, pharmaceutical and healthcare environments, shipping and distribution centres, industrial manufacturing environments and component suppliers: the intelligent printing functionality allows you to configure the settings and print even without using a host computer.
Many of the models proposed can be equipped with an RFID encoder which allows the transponder integrated in the label to be programmed at the same time as printing.
Based on the Honeywell PX940, the LABELMATEC PX940-M is designed to prevent a non-compliant label from being used anyway: the fully integrated verification tool allows acceptance criteria checking (ANSI ratings 1 to 4); labels that do not comply with the defined standards are canceled and reprinted, and thanks to the module developed by Matec (peel remover and control firmware) only verified or already canceled labels are available at the operator's grip!
